I disagree. I mean it’s certainly your prerogative not to listen to the international community, but I think it’s important to take lessons from one another, and it makes me feel better that people care.
Also, it’s not like US presidential elections only affect the US. You guys are, for better or worse, the most powerful and prominent nation on this planet. Your policy on international affairs literally affect everyone. Your cultural supremacy affects the entire Western world. Who you guys elect as president will matter to the rest of the world – and at least where I’m standing, we’re fucking terrified of what that could mean for us.
