The kiss just makes so much more sense now, too.

Like, while being really happy, I always had the nagging thought that Taliesin wouldn’t have had Percy do it if he hadn’t heard the sibling conversation (look at him flirting with the camera, that smug bastard).

But now we know that he’d been wanting to do this ALL THE TIME but considered himself to be too broken and bad for her to actually go for it, or for Vex to even remotely feel the same, and all that angsty stuff.

But there she is, tripping over her words to point out to him how good he is for forgiving Ripley, and showing him that she CARVED SOMETHING IN HER WEAPON which can NEVER NOT BE, you know, a reference to when he had shit carved in his weapons, and he’s like, damn. Maybe this is good. Maybe I am worthy. Maybe I won’t ruin everything and especially her.

Like, regardless of whether he heard what went on during the resurrection (after the incident with the cosplayer I’d actually say that he did), this incident just finally, finally showed the character that it’s okay (to want things, gnihihi).

..This also explains Taliesin’s reaction at the end. More than baiting the internet, this is him finally getting to do what he’s been sitting on for ages and ages.

Gaaah. Why are they so perfect.
