you don’t have to ignore a character’s friendships and say “their friends wouldn’t miss them” or “they have never loved anyone before their romantic partner” to make your ship more romantic. I promise you, you can have a romantic relationship and healthy friendships AT THE SAME TIME

especially if the character canonically has close friends that care about them
