i’m really hate-loving the moments where scanlan is just reaching the end of his fucking tether and does something and then just looks at the rest of the group like he was daring them to do or say something

he did this after they found the second flying carpet and offered it to allura and after he said he was taking 200 platinum from thordak’s lair for himself

i can’t help thinking these were his “clues” to the group that scanlan was losing his patience, which jfc. communicate with people, you fucking gnome. 

also i’m wondering if he wasn’t considering departing before the events of his second death and resurrection bc 200 platinum, dude. 

He did promise to go with Kaylie back in episode 56, I think, when he looks for her in Kymal the first time… Though Sam said on Talks Machina that he only went with her because of what Vex and Percy said about that topic. But I’m pretty sure he’s been planning to escalate things for a while before that.

I’m still not over him blaming VM for not knowing stuff they were literally not allowed to know because of rules and die rolls. That was just… Devastating.
