Percy referring to the rest of Vox Machina as “the kids” is hilarious considering he’s technically the youngest member of the group. Though I get the feeling that, like Taliesin, Percy was one of those kids who was really an adult at heart all along.
Kinda explains why he sometimes has random childish moments (read: nearly blowing himself up trying to win a cannonball contest) – he never really had those moments as a kid.
It gets better. Proportionally speaking, he might actually be the oldest. Not in absolute years, but in his 23-ish years, his body matured more than anyone else’s due to their livespans. The twins are factually 27, which in half-elven years is like 17 (which explains so much, doesn’t it?), which is also rooooughly how old Pike is in gnome years. Keyleth isn’t older than the twins, Grog doesn’t know how old he is. So yeah. Proportionally, Percy is the most physically mature.
