Travis on Talks Machina offering people to maybe write him the hate mail they were going to send to Marisha because for some reason, he’s never gotten any, might have been the highlight of that Talks episode.
Well, that and “Manners is not just a ball I throw at people”.
Or the fact that Brian actively told people to quit watching the show because Marisha isn’t going anywhere.
I seriously do not understand the Marisha hate. It’s so confusing to me
Because she has occasionally made “mistakes” while playing? Whoopee
Yeah, and because her roleplay is “cringey” she had “no character development” or is several expletives. Or maybe it’s not about her playstyle at all, and just about the fact that she happens to be a woman taking up space at a gaming table, but that would mean large parts of the fandom may or may not have a little bit of a misogyny issue, and I’m sure that would never happen in the tabletop community :)))))
