I don’t know how many Critters have joined after the second campaign started so forgive me if you know a lot of this already.

Orion Acaba was part of the home game and the Vox Machina campaign. His character was Tiberius Stormwind, a dragonborn wizard. Orion left the campaign after the start of the Whitestone arc, and Tiberius left an episode later. 

He did his own thing after leaving the show, doing Twitch streams and working on his own D&D stuff. Victoria Carlini was a volunteer moderator for his Twitch stream, and suffered a tragic accident in which she lost her father. Orion, without her permission, decided to do a charity stream and donate the proceeds to her. And then didn’t give her the money he promised, instead using it to buy things for himself. He posted a weaselly statement on Twitter after Victoria’s statement gained attention.

It has also come to light that a sockpuppet account, probably run by Orion, has been tweeting false and defamatory things about an ex-girlfriend, Corina Boettger. I first heard about this from Allegra Clark, another voice actor. Corina explains things a little in this Twitter conversation. There is also more information in the Instagram post she links to (abuse tw; there’s more capped messages on her IG which are pretty nasty). 

The sock account has been hashtagging Critical Role in an attempt to derive some sort of legitimacy via his previous association with the show. I wanted to let people who might not be familiar with some of the things he’s done know, and to be careful with any support and attention they might consider providing to him.
