I’ll be over here, feeling both annoyed about the character with the German accent getting the nazi backstory while also being smug about having called something like that from the beginning.

Fuck it, I’m saying it: it’s angst on top of angst on top of angst with this guy and I was already done with it, like, 80 episodes ago now. At least if he’s Fake Fantasy German this time I can use the word “angst” as advisedly as possible.

I mean I agree with all of that, but I feel compelled to mention that “Angst” is not a genre in German, it just means “fear”. Just to be a pedantic bitch. Haven’t done that in a while. I’m not entirely sure what a fitting translation would be, but I think the word Drama or dramatisch needs to be in there. Melodrama? Hm.

I never meant to suggest it was a genre, just that the derivation does make it more apt. but I get ya. 😉

Genre was a bad word. The terms just mean entiiiirely different things in German or English, and in this case, only one applies 😀

Though the German meaning sure relates to how I feel about where this is going.
