A miscarriage is very often grieved by someone who lost a wanted pregnancy. It’s natural to be sad about the lost opportunity when it was a pregnancy you wanted to carry.
An abortion is most often performed on a pregnancy the person does not want. Sometimes people will be sad about it, and that’s okay! Sometimes they are not, and that’s okay too!
Someone being sad about their miscarriage and not their abortion though is not hypocrisy because these are different scenarios that generally have different emotions surrounding them.
