hopefully i word this right but like… y’all really need to stop acting as if lgbt celebrities are up to date on all the eel gee bee tee discourse on tumblr. i’ve noticed people will #cancel lgbt celebs because one of them said “the queer community” or “lgbtqia+” etc and its like… okay…. its your choice if you wanna quit supporting a celeb over that but stop telling other lgbt people to condemn celebrities who are literally lgbt themselves and have never done anything to intentionally hurt us. examples are kehlani saying the q community and lena waithe saying “lgbtqia+” or whatever. and i also notice y’all are a lot harder on wlwoc when it comes to these things. like of course i found both instances annoying and you’re allowed to be annoyed, but we really don’t have to drag wlwoc through the mud for saying things like this that have no bad intentions or malice behind them
