i just want to point out that my favorite Percy & Keyleth interaction is when a dragon is flying over the hidden Whitestone and they argue through the whole thing about what to do because they are both terrified and trying to save innocents and Percy sees the home he barely just recovered about to be wiped out of existence and Keyleth wants to lead and act and protect everyone from the incoming danger and they yell at each other and have a horrible stand off… 

but as soon as the moment passes and Keyleth tries to apologize, stoic-goth-proper Percy can only say “shut up shut up shut up” as he hugs her with relief because he knows they were both terrified and trying to do the right thing and that she was trying to protect his home just as much as he was.
