Avantika: I’m proud to identify as morosexual. I’m attracted to dumbasses and dumbasses exclusively. Fjord ate his sword once and now I dream of kissing him under the moonlight.
Fjord: No, I don’t know Vandrin.
Avantika, already taking off her clothes: Fjord, you’re so fucking stupid.
Me: I love the Hangzhou bubblegum skins, I probably won’t wear them on many heroes because I really like my legendaries but I still love the skins
Some asshole: hey SJWs these skins FUCKING SUCK
Me: I will now spend Real Money to buy and wear all the skins at all times. I will buy a jersey and a hoodie. My entire house is now rooting for Hangzhou.
My Overwatch League teams: The one for trans rights, the Parisian cocks, the one that plays Renn Faire, and The One With The Girl.
do u guys understand how creepy the pledge of allegiance is though like every day when ur a kid everybody just chants how great america is every morning it’s creepy
You do that every morning???
EVERY MORNING.
wait
wait
is this a real thing i thought that was just in the simpsons
no son
Wait, other countries don’t do this.
*whispers* Not even Russia
I remember when my dad had a conversation with me
because I asked him what the Austrian pledge of allegiance was (because he’s from Austria)
and he said “we don’t have a pledge of allegiance”
and I said “why not?”
“honey, think about what training your children to mindlessly pledge to a flag, without really knowing what they’re talking about, sounds like to Austrians”
hot take: the Jester/Avantika dichotomy/romantic rivalry IS about purity vs. corruption, but it’s not, like, “childish innocence vs sultry evil seductress” – Jester wants to ride that boy like a hurricane at sea, if you haven’t noticed. She wants to consume his swjord. It might not be as nice as Molly’s, but she’s still very interested in all the seamen he could introduce her to.
It is about purity of motives. It is about how Avantika wants the power Uka’toa can give her, while the Traveler is Jester’s best friend who helps her pull hilarious pranks and – more than she gets credit for – heal her friends. It is about how Jester does not, as a rule, mean harm to others (outside of life or death fights), while Avantika has ruthlessly killed her way to the top. Most of all, it is about how Jester genuinely seems to love Fjord, or at least really really likes him and also wants to hit that lie a spiritual lollipop, whereas with Avantca, it’s a…business transaction in which they both know they’re trying to trick the other into trust, or at least less wariness.
It’s a pretty damn good dichotomy, imo. Hmu with that good good foiling. Throw Fjord in there, too, of course, somewhere in between the two of them. Love it. 10/10 would shout excitedly at livestream again.
I’m finally ready to start my playtest of the class, and I’d love your help to do it!
The witch brings a new flavor of magic to the 5e ruleset, and while it pushes the complexity of the system just a bit, it creates a rewarding and fun class that hopefully fills a hole in the 5e caster lineup! Not quite wizard, and not quite warlock, the witch fulfills that role of strange outcast with a magical companion that only it could!
