The full Scrooge Mcduck treatment is nice and all, but I think the hottest moment this episode was when Percy declared Vex to be tax exempt.

Best timeline AU in which Kaylie amicably stays behind in Whitestone, joins the club of troubled teens parked there, they change Hunin’s name into Qunin so everyone starts with a K-sound, Kior rolls paladin and H/Qunin rolls cleric, Kynan takes enough levels in Fighter to use the guns, and they all run away to be the new adventuring band Teens Machina. Also Cassandra and Kaylie are lovers.

So not only is Vex a walking “tragic bisexual” trope, she’s also the disposable horror movie opening sequence girl who has sex and is killed almost immediately after.

Remember when Vax made a completely shocked face when Percy tried to stab Raishan while his completely unprepared sister was in the room?

Remember when Vax punched Percy in the face for impulsively triggering a trap after they were already low on hit points after a major encounter and Vex died?

And remember when Vax impulsively leapt into a room and almost got Percy’s sister killed that way?
