So… the same episode we’re reminded that Sam modeled Scanlan’s backstory after Eminem’s, Matt introduces a gnomish girl whose name rhymes with Hailie. Did we all collectively miss that, or why was everyone surprised when Kaylie turned out to be his daughter?

…also, side note: Why did it take until the second rewatch for me to figure this out?
