Honestly its amazing how they’re so willing to admit they’re bullies and still think they’re the “good guys”

A great example for the theory that nerds are as hyper-masculine in their culture as jocks are, just setting different criteria for it when they can’t or don’t meet the jock criteria of physical accomplishment. But yeah, for some people it is a competitive, masculine space in which to assert dominance and convince themselves they’re better than everyone else.

This nerd culture sense that they were, collectively, poor good children who were oppressed for their hobbies and their awkwardness and thus are entitled to an unchanging geek community that caters solely to them in adulthood really needs to die.
