3 things:
1) Sorry for terrible photo quality
2) Gaga’s face is kinda humorous in this photo
And most importantly:
3) Look at her. Gaga is seen as an attractive, beautiful, fashion icon. She is a world-renowned singer and performer. Her following is gigantic, and she is referred to as a queen and matriarch of inclusiveness and equality.
She also has a pudgey stomach and skin rolls on her side.
I was watching the halftime show on TV and immediately noticed this during Bad Romance, and immediately went online to find a screenshot. If you watch this performance again, you’ll notice that her stomach folds, curls, and she has a bit of it hanging over her bottoms for almost her entire performance. She has thighs that jiggle when she moves, and she does not have a thigh gap, either.
This is normal.
In today’s world, especially in the West, it is emphasized that looking like a VS Model is what’s attractive. But even people like Lady Gaga have stomach rolls. Everyone does. And it’s okay if you do too. Not only are those not a bad thing to have, they’re supposed to be there. True, in this photo she’s bent a little, which is what’s also causing her stomach to pudge. But if you watch the rest of the show where she’s bearing her middrift, it looks like this for her entire performance. You don’t think any less of her, do you? You don’t think that makes her unattractive or ugly or fat, right?
The same goes for you. So what if you have chub on your stomach? So what if you don’t have a thigh gap? So what if your thighs dance to their own song when you’re walking or running?
Lady Gaga is a beautiful woman, and even she has stomach pudge. It’s okay if you do too.
