Just a friendly PSA: “biologically able to have children” does not mean, by our standards at least, “adult able to give concent”. We can argue semantics all day, about goblin culture and biology and the social conventions of a fantasy world, but “child bearing age” is after puberty… which happens as a pre-teen. Girls aren’t being wed at 13 anymore in the western world, and that’s a good thing! I don’t think it’s a bad thing to hold ourselves to a higher standard then that.

Plus, what a cute dynamic,,, I love teen Nott with all my heart

Girls NEVER WERE wed at 13 in the western world outside of noble circles. And even in those, those were property transactions, nothing was consummated, and most people considered it weird and disgusting. Yes, Henry VII’s mom got married at 12 and had her first and only child less than a year later, but that was the very gross exception to the rule. The birth was also so hard on her she could never have any children again, and people, even the aristocracy, KNEW the risks so consummation didn’t happen until way later.

(I’m sorry. Pet peeve of mine.)
