VACCINATE YOUR FUCKING KIDS

i know this isn’t my first time reblogging this post to this blog, and it probably won’t be the last. Stay educated.

Also, immunocompromised members of society (including a number of my family members and friends) don’t deserve to have their lives threatened because of antivaxxers and their “right” to believe lies.

Vaccinating yourself and your kids isn’t just a personal decision – it’s a decision that affects your entire community. I have friends whose family members survived cancer only to die from the flu because someone didn’t get vaccinated and exposed the survivors’ compromised immune systems to the virus. I had a friend in high school who nearly died because an unvaccinated family got measles during a trip abroad and brought it back to infect a ton of unvaccinated people at my school. Believing the lies and conspiracy theories about vaccines literally gets people killed. It’s completely unethical to gamble with your children’s lives and the lives of those around you because of some completely debunked, ableist pseudoscience.
