you know it’s funny, i often see people pointing out that technically rose granger-weasley has been portrayed as white in one of the films so her being black doesn’t have to be canon

and yet for some reason i never see those same people pointing out that lavender brown was portrayed as black in multiple films so her being white doesn’t have to be canon

despite the fact that, you know, they both had a similar amount of lines and screen time in their respective movies, for some reason people don’t point out the second one. hmm.
